Symptoms of pyelonephritis may include:

• Flank pain

  • Pain may also be in the lower abdomen, groin, side, etc.

• Fever

• Pain with urination (dysuria)

• Changes to urine appearance

  • Cloudy, dark, bloody, odorous, etc.

• Increased urinary frequency

• Increased urinary urgency

• Nausea

• Vomiting
